Although I didn't know it was significant at the time, one of the many things I remember from my time growing up in Georgia is that my father had the same State Farm Agent for 45 years. Now that I am a State Farm Agent, I aim to be that go-to person people can depend on for years to come. I have been working in the insurance industry since 2011 and am passionate about protecting my customers from everything that life can throw their way. I graduated from The University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a Master of Arts. I also spent more hours than I care to count earning my RICP designation from The American College, however it was worth it.

Community involvement has always been a priority for me, which is why I am an active member of the Richmond Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners, Girl Scouts of the Commonwealth, Leadership Metro Richmond as well as a Junior League of Richmond Sustainer. I am a former chair of the Commonwealth of Virginia Fair Housing Board, as well as a former chair of the State Farm Federal PAC Virginia Advisory Committee. Currently, I am president of my condo association.

I am a believer in paying it forward. Keeping my Good Neighbor reputation intact, I am a supporter of many worthy nonprofits including the Women's Council of the Commonwealth of Virginia Girl Scouts.

When I’m away from the office, I love spending time with my family and friends. I am happily married to my husband who, in my humble opinion, is a living saint. Together, we have four wonderful children. In my spare time, I like to read, exercise, bake mini cakes, Facetime with my kids, and teach people the proper barking chant for UGA football games: Go Dawgs!
